I got these lovely responses, which somehow didn't go where they were supposed to go in my computer. The other day I was cleaning out files and discovered this treasure. I apologize to those generous readers who responded for being so delayed in printing their stories. I'd love to do this again. So once more I ask those of you who would like to share their experiences to send them to me at elfspirit333@gmail.com. And this time I promise to put them in a safe place—preferably a newsletter. ~*~ I would like to share my experience with crystals. For the whole of April, May, June, July, and August I have been putting rose quartz and clear quartz crystals in a jug and filling with water and then leaving in the sunlight. I then will water all my plants and gardens with this elixir and results have been phenomenal. My plants were vigourous and produced more fruit than others who had planted near mine. Of course I also talk to my garden on a regular basis but I believe the crystals had the perfect vibration of love and light to keep them happy. (Anonymous) ~*~ At one point in your newsletter (which I dearly love, BTW :) ), you asked about uses that readers put crystals to around the home. These are the ways that I currently use crystals: 1. I place them in the bags that hold my Tarot cards (I am a professional reader). 2. I place them with my plants to keep them healthy. 3. I place them in a seashell near my computer - they bring a sense of peace to the work that I do there (personal work or on line readings for friends). And they are pretty ;-) 4. I have them on my dresser, along with a white candle that is lit at all times, as protection. 5. I place certain crystals in my living space to increase abundance according to Feng Shui principles. 6. I use them in ritual work, sometimes with my Tarot cards and sometimes alone. 7. I use them to meditate and help open the Third Eye chakra. 8. I play with them (especially Rose quartz, which I have a ton of !!). ;-) I look forward to seeing what everyone else does with them. This was a wonderful question !! ~*~ Crystals are as much about visuals, as they are about vibrations. Just looking at your crystals can give you a really great feeling. I put my crystals in places where I am likely to 'sit out' an idle moment. A collection of different textured crystals or a bowl of tumbled stones... 1. Crystals by my computer - for when I am waiting for the computer to dial in, or download. Those few moments give me the opportunity to pick up and hold my favourite crystals. 2. Crystals by the telephone - for those annoying calls where you are put on hold 3. Bowls of Crystals by the front door - for guests to choose one on their way home as a gift 4. Tumbled stones in a clear glass jar - in the kitchen windowsill. Useful to look at when you are doing boring kitchen chores! I like to rearrange my crystals regularly. It seems to help to keep the energy alive. It is a good idea to wash your crystals occasionally too. If you like, you can 'cleanse them under running water and leave them to dry in the moonlight or out in the sunshine. At they very least they deserve the respect of removing the dust! Crystals look especially beautiful when placed in my sunny kitchen window - especially when grouped amongst my collection of leafy, green houseplants. I like to place a couple of crystals in a glass jar amongst the plants too (remembering to change the water regularly). Bowls of tumbled stones are a fun way of relieving stress. I like to be creative and make patterns with them on my dining room table! In my bathroom I have a beautiful soap dish filled with shells, pebbles and crystals, and another beautiful geode placed next to the sink where I wash my hands. I like to keep some crystals in my garden too. Some are nestled around the fountain and others around my pot plants. It is lovely to sit in my special place in the garden, surrounded by nature in all of its glory! Some people say the fairies take them away - but I have been lucky, because my fairies only stop and look! You can now find many crystals cut into marble spheres. These beauties are even more effective when placed in groups. I have a simple pine corner shelf which I have hung at 'eye-level'. This makes a lovely display place for my crystal balls and marbles. The smaller marble shapes I sit on curtain rings to keep them still. The rule of using crystals in your home is really that there are NO RULES. If you love them, then it is right for you. JACKY NEWCOMB ~*~ Hello crystal friends, I would like to share a crystal transformation story too. One of my friends has a daughter that was having difficulties with concentrating during the classes at school. She became distracted very easily and her grades were dropping fast. When my friend asked me over for a visit, I bought a quartz crystal for her daughter and gave it to her as a gift. I told her that she could place it on her desk while studying and that it could become her friend. I programmed the crystal with the intention to help her concentrate and clear her mind, and it did! She really became attached with this crystal; she loved it from the first moment she held it in her hands. And her grades are going up again, her way of expressing herself improved a lot too. This young girl has been having nightmares for years and sins I gave her this crystal the nightmares stopped immediately. All children like crystals, I always give one at birthdays or when a baby is born. For instance rose quarts or clear quarts. Most children place them on their cabins or between their toys and I often noticed that they hold them in their hands when they feel a bit tired or lost. And....so do I :) In Joy, Light*Wings You can read this online at http://www.rainbowcrystal.com/crystal/crystalpotpourri.html
